MCP Server

A small process that exposes tools, resources, or prompts to an LLM client via the Model Context Protocol, letting any compliant AI agent use the server capabilities.

What Is MCP Server?

Where MCP is the protocol, an MCP server is the actual running implementation. Common examples: a GitHub MCP server exposes issue and PR operations; a Postgres MCP server exposes SQL execution; a filesystem MCP server exposes read and write. Claude Desktop, Cursor, and increasingly OpenAI tooling speak MCP, so one server works across many AI clients without per-client integration code.

How Groovy Web Uses This

We build custom MCP servers for clients who want internal tools, SaaS APIs, and databases exposed to AI agents in one standard interface.
